Open4Skills

About the project

“Open Yourself for Career Skills” (“Open4Skills”) was an international project co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme. The project aimed to strengthen non-formal career counselling for young people by using non-formal education methods, digital solutions, and tools tailored to young people’s needs. It sought to increase the accessibility, flexibility, and quality of career counselling, while also strengthening the competences of people working with young people.

During the project, the partners aimed to analyse young people’s career counselling needs, develop methodological tools for non-formal career counselling, organise training activities for people working with young people, and create the multilingual “Open4Skills” learning platform. The activities also aimed to help young people better understand their abilities, interests, competences, and possible career paths.

The main project results were the methodological tools for non-formal career counselling and the multilingual “Open4Skills” learning platform. These resources were designed to provide people working with young people with practical tools for career counselling and to give young people more opportunities to better understand themselves, explore career possibilities, and make more informed decisions about their future.
